Prayer Ministry

FUMC has a prayer chain in place to pray for church members and friends daily. The group meets on the second Sunday of each month to pray together and share updates on those on the prayer list. Prayer chain members are notified of new additions immediately by telephone or email. If you or someone you know would like to be added to our prayer list, please notify the church office or complete the form below, and we will begin praying for you immediately.

Please complete the form to have a name added to our prayer chain. Please include your contact info if you wish for us to contact you, or you may remain anonymous.

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

- Ephesians 6:17-18

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

- James 5:14-16

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

- Philippians 4:6-7
